The staff were very pleasant and friendly; also accommodating. My french was quite basic (I am still learning) but they were very nice about this and helpful. They were also very helpful in general, all of them, from reception staff, to the cleaning staff and bar/food. The surroundings is very relaxed as well. I was at an event at Matmut Atalantique stadium - it was a 10 minute stroll from there. The tram is also 2 mins away from the hotel, which takes you straight into town. In fact, the tram system in Bordeaux is excellent - you can hop on and arrive anywhere, they are very regular! We just found everything so easy - but that is Bordeaux in general, I think!

Typical Campanile, on the edge of the water, no frills, but beautifully clean, with pleasant staff. Room had everything we needed for an overnight stop, just moments from the motorway and without any road noise at all. Great shower. Breakfast was expensive but extensive. Whilst we didn't use them, the trams to the centre of Bordeaux stop nearby as well, making it a good place for a city visit.

Good location(you need sat nav to find the area IMO), basic but clean & OK room, staff excellent and friendly. The parking is a secure gated area. three of four restaurants easy walking distance and the Campanille has a restaurant as well(I wanted a walk and the local Courtepaille was great). Easy to get back on the A1 and a Leclerc centre commecial is just up the A1 for fuel etc..

Excellent value for money to stay at this hotel, not far from the motorway. It was clean, spacious, had a bath and good Wifi as well as free parking. We used the bar facilities but not the restaurant for dinner or breakfast so cannot comment on quality. Very friendly, informative and helpful staff too.

Room was warm, bathroom with towels, soap and hairdryer. kettle and Tv. the car park is enclosed, so we felt our car was safe, as we left all our stuff inside. This hotel was perfect for our stop from Calais to Spain Also, surrounded by restaurants!! Staff friendly and efficient
